Description
This beautiful Tibetan door curtain is hand-embroidered with a colorful windhorse figure surrounded by the 8 auspicious symbols. The windhorse, also known as lung ta, carries prayers on the wind. Traditionally, these curtains will hang over doorways to keep the chilled drafts out of homes in the Himalayas. We think they look terrific displayed on a wall or hung in the traditional style. Small loops are sewn into the top for ease of hanging.
Handmade in Nepal. Silk with cotton backing. Choice of color of horse.
