It was while meditating under a bodhi tree that Prince Siddhartha attained enlightenment and became the Buddha. The dark-speckled seeds from this fig tree thus have special meaning for all seekers of divine wisdom. Bodhi in Sanskrit is enlightenment.
This mala is very special and unique. Bodhi seeds are hard to find now in Nepal and we were fortunate enough to obtain these cbeautiful seeds.
Size: Approx 108 bodhi seeds. Strung on durable black cord complete with guru bead. Adjustable. Bodhi seeds differ in size; but measure from 11mm-14mm. 44 inche circumference.
