Although it isn't ancient, this is one of the more exceptional beads made in the early 1990's. The perfectly made bead includes stunning agate banding and resembles ancient beads that are now being sold for tens of thousands of dollars.
Bead measures just under 2 inches long and 0.5 inch wide. Thai wood beads are 6mm. Adjustable necklace opens to about 30 inches around and can tighten as desired.
